I was not able to finish the online class in the two week time frame as something personal came up that stopped me from completing it. However, what I did complete was amazing! When it comes time for me to take the ACLS class in the future, I will def be using this site and the course interactive guide again in order to help me pass!

Fantastic program especially the mega code videos. Passed my ACLS yesterday because of your site. This is the first time I’ve taken the material in such a clear, retainable teaching style. Really feel this material will help health providers to improve their care. I will be able to use it as a study tool even though I’ve completed my ACLS.

    Thank you!

Thank you Jeff for this website. Several years ago when I needed to renew my ACLS, I tried in earnest to study using the AHA ACLS book alone. It is a very valuable reference book but as far as me using it as the only way to study, well lets just say I was falling asleep more than I was learning. That is when I started to search the web for help in studying the material and stumbled across your site. I decided to take a chance and I am so glad I did. Your website makes preparing for the ACLS course or renewal painless. I actually look forward to going to the site and spending a few hours or a few minutes in the course work. I had my ACLS renewal today and thanks to your website, I had no difficulty. I have referred many a colleague to your site and I hope you never take this website ACLS prep course down.

    Thank you,

Once again, your site has allowed me to participate with confidence in my ACLS renewal. So pleased to have found you, and think this was the 4th or 5th time I have subscribed. I find your site to be so helpful, I rarely even open the book to study. And, have referred several friends and coworkers to your site as well. I should be on commission! Thanks, Jeff!

The best ACLS website. Very thorough, walks you through step by step. You really do master ACLS when you’re done.

A great learning program that is self directed . As a PA in Neurosurgery taking ACLS is out of my comfort zone but your course makes it easy to understand and actually learn from .
This my second time recertifying and passing ACLS with your course. I have recommended it many of my collegues .
I’ll be back in 2 years again .

    hi Jeff
i m still confused on how to do an assessment to identify reversible causes. what blood do i also need to take to help me identify the cause of PEA/asytole.
Also am failing to master the clues given in a scenario to come out with a diffential diagnosis, Things such as skin color, diaphoresis etc
Please help, also my friend told me tht during algorithm mega codes you need to summarize what you have done for the patient.
    thank you.

Identification of reversible causes can be centered around a review of the Hs and T’s.
A review of the following pages will help you begin to recognize signs and symptoms that can reveal a differential diagnosis.

      Adult H’s and T’s

      Pediatric H’s and T’s

Second link is found within the pediatric advanced life support section, however the information can be applied to adults as well.

Regarding summarization of interventions that have been completed, this can vary from testing facility to testing facility.

Focus on application of the knowledge by completing the megacode training on the website. If you have confidence with all of the basics of the algorithms then verbalization and review of your intervention this will be much easier.

      Kind regards,
      Jeff

I want to say “Thank You” I downloaded this program to study for my upcoming ACLS test. I studied while waiting for my flights and at night during my vacation. The short quizzes and mega codes helped me increase my confidence and helped me minimize my test anxiety that normally an ACLS class would cause me to endure. I passed with flying colors….. again thank you… and I look forward to using your PALS program.

Enrolled in the 2 week study program and used the interactive study guide to narrow down what I needed to study the most. Took my first initial Acls class and passed it with no problems. Thank you very much for this resource, it was very helpful.
