I owe you a huge “thank-you” for your amazing site! I hired into a new position requiring ALS. It was scheduled about 4 weeks after hire, however, a preplanned 10 day vacation was in the middle of that along with a family wedding! The position was a huge learning curve by itself. When/how to study for ACLS?! I took a 4 hour evening and 6 hour day and crammed with your quizzes and tests. This was my first experience with this site. I used it for both PALS & ACLS and found it to be useful and helpful. It is not magic – one still has to put in the time and do the work – but having the material presented in a different format made it easier. The information is well organized. It is easier to go to the site and work than just wade through the AHA book. The repetition, exercises and quizzes are all useful and help one retain and recall the information. I will use it again every time.

I was looking forward to taking this course based off the reviews. When I first started the course I was very impressed by the depth in the materials and the interactive aspects embedded within each concepts. The course was very well organized, and I appreciate all the practice tests, both multiple choice as well as simulations. However, unfortunately I had several connectivity problems while trying to complete this course. Whenever I got to a quiz, I couldn’t “check my answer” without the site freezing. Once, refreshed it would make me restart the quiz from the beginning. The website was down multiple times while efforts were made to try to fix a bug. I understand this is out of anyone’s control, but it was extremely frustrating. For some reason, I was also charged twice for the course, which was even more frustrating considering the majority of the time I was trying to use the course, it was down.

The technical difficulties and the subsequent site downtime was a necessary but undesirable experience on both sides. My desire is to always provide low stress, simple, and enjoyable training and the server issues and downtime kept a few from experiencing this. Hopefully with all of the new implemented technologies we will not have any issues fir a long time to come. I am happy to report that this was the first time in over a decade that this kind of issue has ever occurred. This site works miracles. I took the test on a Friday without studying, made a 72. I signed up for the course Saturday morning. I took the practice tests and read Saturday and Sunday. Re-tested Monday, made a 90!!!
