Your Complete ACLS Training and Review
Since 2010, ACLS-Algorithms.com has been providing online ACLS training to help health care providers prepare for and pass the AHA ACLS Certification.
Your ACLS preparation should not have to be stressful or difficult. In fact, our goal is to provide you with a low-stress, highly-focused, and entertaining environment for learning. This environment allows you to relax and enjoy the process while internalizing the ACLS training content. ACLS Algorithms Made Simple! That is our motto, and you won’t be disappointed with the training.
Since 2010, over 150,000 students have used this training course to prepare for the American Heart Association ACLS Provider course, and the results have been amazing. After finishing the course, many have said they now can understand and apply their ACLS knowledge as never before. This is even reported from first-time ACLS takers.
Here’s What’s Inside the Course
There are four primary
ACLS algorithms in
this ACLS training
which include
- The Cardiac Arrest Algorithm
- Bradycardia Algorithm
- Tachycardia Algorithm
- The Post-Cardiac Arrest Algorithm.
The Learn & Master ACLS Training Course makes learning these ACLS algorithms simple, and each algorithm can be quickly mastered through the series of modules which include written content, short algorithm review videos, EKG rhythm interpretation, practice tests, and multiple choice megacode skills scenarios.
Two Methods of Review
If you are new to ACLS and/or would like a guided approach to quickly learn and master all of the ACLS algorithms, use the Interactive Course Guide
If you prefer independent study, you can download the Learn & Master ACLS Checklist to keep track of what you have reviewed here on the site.
After completing all of the multiple-choice megacode scenarios, you will round off your preparation for the AHA ACLS megacode skills station by watching the ACLS megacode series videos that take you through real-time megacode scenarios and sharpen your retention and recall of the training material. You can also improve your rhythm recognition by reviewing the rapid rhythm identification videos. If you use the Interactive Course Guide 2.0, all of this content is built into the course.
Learn & Master ACLS provides you with straightforward, systematic, and comprehensive ACLS Training with hundreds of ACLS questions, scenarios, and other training tools.
Satisfaction guaranteed
This ACLS training course will help you prepare for the ACLS written exam, megacode, and real-life emergency situations, and after taking it, you will pass with flying colors.

Jeff,
Completed my two year re-certification ACLS this week, and am pleased to report that I Aced every aspect of the exam. I used your website to prepare. I have been renewing every two years for the past 25. I have never known exactly how to approach studying for the exam. Your logical, sequential approach was a pleasure to use. Your teaching method is well thought out and implemented and very effective in reinforcing the most salient concepts. Using algorithms.com made the preparation the least difficult and challenging of any of the previous years.
You should be very proud of the service that you provide to the medical community. I plan to take advantage of your offer for one year renewal and utilize algorithm.com to stay prepared throughout the years between re-certifications as well as keeping that edge in my daily practice.
Thank you very much for a job well done.

Thank you for a good course. I think it was money well spent.
Despite having taken ACLS about 14 or 15 times since 1983, I completed the entire guided course. Because of the significant changes in 2015, I had passed but not done as well as usual on the written test in 2015. As it had been 3 years since I took that class, this time I read the entire AHA ACLS handbook, and I completed your whole guided course curriculum, because this time I wanted to do very well. Unfortunately, the day of my course, the office of the EMS company where I was to take the course flooded completely because of a burst water main! The company has not yet been able to reschedule my class.
I think the course would be even better if you included more instruction on recognizing moving rhythm strips (those are difficult for me, as in the past, I always had a static 6 to 10 second strip pulled off the monitor to look at before deciding what the rhythm was). You might add a section on understanding the drugs and more importantly, memorizing when they are used (in which rhythm).
I would like to know more about the different airways available, as the last time I ran a real code, we were still using only the BVM and the endotracheal tubes. However, these are undoubtedly better learnt by handling and looking at the actual airways and practicing using them on dummies.
Again, I thank you for a very useful course.
Respectfully yours,
Tina M. Gardner, M.D.

I passed all the megacodes and the written exam 100% which wound not have happened without this program. You made it so easy to learn all the rhythms and algorithms. thank you

Jeff,
Thank you so much for this website! I tell everyone that is ACLS certified about this course and how it over prepares you to not only pass the test but to understand everything there is to know about ACLS. With that said, I just took my re-certification course today and got 100% on both the megacode and written exam! Thanks again for the course and keeping it up to date as well.

I have been worrying and stressing about my ACLS class and test. I have had to put if off twice now, both times due to a fall and wreck of my right arm and shoulder (talk about bad luck!) and now that I am able to do the class, the book I have just didn’t cut it. all the previous knowledge I have from my medical classes and years of study just vaporized on me. I got a radical haircut, read the book backwards and got to this site, and it all came back. this site has saved me the most!!! plus it has the PALS prep which I need for my next class. the better prepared and more education I have, the better candidate I am for keeping work. at 43, going into the workforce, I worry about being too old, and worrying about being phased out too early once I get in. this site helps give me confidence that with the ease of learning the subject, I won’t have to worry about being phased out any time soon. thanks!

You are welcome. I’m so glad that the site is helpful for you. I’m sorry to hear about your accident. I hope that you recover quickly. Thank you for the encouragement. Blessings, Jeff

I am a Paramedic student that was trying to make heads or tails out of EKGs and the different Tachy/Brady/Asystole/PEA/Arrest/Post Arrest algorithms and cardiac drug dosage administration…your program had it all! I particularly appreciated the repetition of the scenarios, “you’ve done this, next, you will do ????” format…this really helped to cement the process into my bursting brain! Finally, a huge shout out to Jeff! I needed help on a certain AHA question, I called the “support” number and Jeff himself answered!….not only that, he answered the question and even sent me some screenshots from the AHA documentation to show me the source…and…he was extremely pleasant about it all! ….That made me feel like I certainly made the right decision in choosing ACLS-ALGORITHMS.COM as my number one go-too for all ACLS and PALS online learning…..Sincere thanks Jeff!

Jeff,
Just finished the cardiac arrest algorithm section. I have in my operating suite, side by side, an AED and a monophasic life pak defib. According to the answer to one of the questions in this section, I should use the defib. rather than the AED for unsynchronized defib. rather than the AED. Is that correct?
Thanks
Jeff with admin. says
That is correct. You should use the monophonic defibrillator due to the fact that you do not have to wait for the machine to analyze and make a determination for a shock. With a Manual defibrillator whether monophonic or biphasic, you have full control and can make interventions happen much quicker.
Trials have shown monophasic max dose of 360 J to be as effective as the biphasic dose 120-200 J.
Make sure your staff is aware of this and go straight to 360 J with the monophasic defibrillator.
Kind regards,

This interactive site was very conducive to learning. It offers repetition and activities that stimulate your brain to avoid falling asleep while studying. I HIGHLY recommend it for anyone wanting to drill this important lesson into your head for a safer and faster code response. I’m a full time working night shift nurse who recently graduated so I had very little time and opening another book gave me PTSD and put me instantly to sleep. This site if PERFECT for on the go studying and training.

You’re website is able to condense a large amount of information into concise billet points that help the student immediately jump into quizzes and simulations. By the time, I took my retest I was confident that I knew the information. My instructor was impressed with the amount of information that we had memorized. Thank you!

I’ve experienced difficulty with taking my ACLS Megacode and always dreaded taking the class every two years!! I found ACLS algorithms.com and utilized the site to prepare myself, I passed my test and Megacode with the best scores of I’ve ever had:)) Thank you, Jeff

Unfortunately I did not find out about this amazing website until the night before my test…I found the student website in the ACLS book very poor quality education, and also searched the internet using other algorithm sites for my self guided education 3 weeks prior to my test date. This is the 3rd time I have taken ACLS and felt once again unprepared for the test, and lacking long lasting knowledge. I work in labor and delivery and have found the system frustrating, since I do not use this information on a daily basis, but the certification is required for my job since we started working in the operating room and PACU 5 years ago. I wish you could get your website into the front cover of the ACLS book. The cost is minimal for the breadth of knowledge that you provide. I will use your website in the future. Even though I only had access to it for a brief period of time, the education process is well organized and professional, offering lots of options for different modes of learning.
I did pass the test and receive my certification for 2 more years!
Thank you for the opportunity to give you feedback. I will also be recommending your website to our education department.
