The Learn & Master ACLS practice test library provides you with a comprehensive library of practice tests categorized by Algorithm. Each test is progressive and after completion of all tests, you should have an adequate understanding of each ACLS Algorithm and interventions carried out within ACLS protocol. After you finish each test, the program will grade your test. Repeat the test if you score Less than 85%.
If you miss a question, a rationale will be provided with a page reference number from the AHA ACLS Provider Manual.
If you are using the Learn & Master ACLS Interactive Course Guide to prepare, the ACLS practice tests below are all built into the learning modules. Learn more about the Interactive Course Guide

Found this site 2 days prior to ACLS renewal. I have only done ACLS sporadically since last renewal. I went through this site in approx 4-5 hours hitting each major concept. Today I aced the test (I only missed 1 question!!!) and ROCKED the megacode. AND another thing. . . . . This site has given me confidence with ACLS as opposed to just getting by. Thanks so much and see you in two!

So far I’m loving the site and quizzes. My first try at ACLS is in a few days. My only disappointment is at some of the rationales only referring back to the manual. I found this site when I realized my book wouldn’t be in on time and have nothing to refer back to. Rationales all with actual explanations would be my only suggestion to improve this site.

If you need a more in-depth explanation just leave a comment and I will reply usually within 16 hours.
Most of the references that provide a page number are very straight forward with the multiple choice answer provided.
Kind regards,
Jeff

why is morphine only given when st segment is above 3 mm
Jeff with admin. says
Morphine is primarily given to reduce pain. The decrease in the pain level can also decrease myocardial oxygen demand during an MI. ST segment elevation indicates MI.

what is the advantage of hand free pads instead of defibb pads
Jeff with admin. says
Hands free pads have a number of advantages:
-Increase safety. Defib. paddles have an increased chance of dermal damage due to arcing caused by inconsistent thickness in the spread of conductive gel on the electrode surface, contour of the chest and the relatively high amount of force needed for applying them to the chest to ensure proper conduction.
-Eliminates the use of conductive gels which can become a problem when performing chest compressions. After shocks using paddles, it can get pretty slippery when using conductive gel.
-adhesive patches also reduce the artifact, and once they are applied to the patient, little attention is needed to maintain patch placement.
Kind regards,
Jeff

Hi there, thank you for your site. I should have joined it before the night before the big exam, so I would know my weak areas. I woder if in the future, your site could report scores so the participant can see the average mark from all of the different tests. Great site. Thanks!
