Each ACLS Megacode Scenario within the simulator will take you through situations that you will experience when you perform your ACLS Megacode Skills Station.
After you have completed the scenario, the ACLS simulator will grade your test, and you will receive instant feedback. This will help reinforce the ACLS Algorithm and improve your ability to respond in emergency situations. Go through each megacode scenario as many times as you need to achieve mastery of the ACLS Algorithms.
After you have completed these multiple-choice megacode scenarios, move on to the megacode series videos which will take you one step further in your mastery of the ACLS algorithms.
The ACLS megacode simulator is compliant with the 2020-2025 AHA ACLS guidelines.

My ? is in the megacode scenario’s and algorithm why is the dose of Atropine 0.5 IV most of the time? Why would it not be 1 mg IV? Could you please explain this? I guess its much easier if I understand the rationale. Then I will remember. Thank you ssssooooooooo much for clarifying this for . Truly appreciate your help! Vicki b

Clinical data has shown 0.5mg Atropine to be more effective for use in them bradycardia algorithm. Remember, according to 2010 ACLS Guidelines, atropine is no longer recommended for use in the PEA/asystole algorithm. Use of atropine now only occurs in the bradycardia algorithm

Awesome ACLS prep-site. I am using it personally to prep, but as DON, have also passed on the site address to our staff training coordinator. She can now recommend as a resource to our nurses preparing for ACLS certification. I am a fellow WSU Grad in the nursing class of 1985! In this case, “go Shockers” can have multiple applications! 🙂 Thanks for all your hard work. I look forward to additional videos and megacode scenarios! Blessings! Sally

Great. the megacodes are the best form to practice. I would like them. It would be great if there are a lot of them at this part of the ACLS. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!
