Your Complete ACLS Training and Review

Since 2010, ACLS-Algorithms.com has been providing online ACLS training to help health care providers prepare for and pass the AHA ACLS Certification.
Your ACLS preparation should not have to be stressful or difficult. In fact, our goal is to provide you with a low-stress, highly-focused, and entertaining environment for learning. This environment allows you to relax and enjoy the process while internalizing the ACLS training content. ACLS Algorithms Made Simple! That is our motto, and you won’t be disappointed with the training.
Since 2010, over 150,000 students have used this training course to prepare for the American Heart Association ACLS Provider course, and the results have been amazing. After finishing the course, many have said they now can understand and apply their ACLS knowledge as never before. This is even reported from first-time ACLS takers.
Here’s What’s Inside the Course
There are four primary
ACLS algorithms in
this ACLS training
which include
- The Cardiac Arrest Algorithm
- Bradycardia Algorithm
- Tachycardia Algorithm
- The Post-Cardiac Arrest Algorithm.
The Learn & Master ACLS Training Course makes learning these ACLS algorithms simple, and each algorithm can be quickly mastered through the series of modules which include written content, short algorithm review videos, EKG rhythm interpretation, practice tests, and multiple choice megacode skills scenarios.
Two Methods of Review
If you are new to ACLS and/or would like a guided approach to quickly learn and master all of the ACLS algorithms, use the Interactive Course Guide
If you prefer independent study, you can download the Learn & Master ACLS Checklist to keep track of what you have reviewed here on the site.
After completing all of the multiple-choice megacode scenarios, you will round off your preparation for the AHA ACLS megacode skills station by watching the ACLS megacode series videos that take you through real-time megacode scenarios and sharpen your retention and recall of the training material. You can also improve your rhythm recognition by reviewing the rapid rhythm identification videos. If you use the Interactive Course Guide 2.0, all of this content is built into the course.
Learn & Master ACLS provides you with straightforward, systematic, and comprehensive ACLS Training with hundreds of ACLS questions, scenarios, and other training tools.
Satisfaction guaranteed

This ACLS training course will help you prepare for the ACLS written exam, megacode, and real-life emergency situations, and after taking it, you will pass with flying colors.
This site is always up-to-date with the most recent AHA ACLS algorithm guidelines.

I finished your ACLS on line course and I did very well at the AHA ACLS test. I thought I would be given some Continuing Education Credits, but investigating further, it looks like I have to take another class from MER? Am I wrong about this?
Anne

If you finish the interactive course guide on the website during the length of your subscription, can receive eight continuing education hours for completion.
Medical education resources is the sponsor of the continuing education credits, but your subscription does offer that is completed within the subscription.

I had to postpone my renewal course. I simply couldn’t get the time I needed to get online. I tried taking my computer to work with me and and it just didn’t work out. I was only able to complete 47% of the course. I had to bit the bullet and buy the book. I’ve paid for my course but I couldn’t take it today. I didn’t feel ready.
Also some of the questions on the test were never discussed in the course. I managed to between score 80 to 100% on the tests that I get the opportunity to take.
I wouldn’t recommend the online course if you are a RN who’s on call and have a high probability of having to work double shifts. It’s impossible to do the course in 5-10 minutes spots.
Thank for the extra time. It just wasn’t the way for me to go.
ACLS says
Hi Doris,
I’m sorry things didn’t work out for you. If you do need more time to complete the interactive course guide so that you can get the continuing education hours I’d be glad to extend that for you. Please let me know if I can help in any way.
Kind regards, Jeff

Many thanks for helping me to complete my ACLS Refresher with totally no stress. I really was appreciative of the update page, clearly outlining the updates & another mode I used for the first time was the audio learning; this was fantastic and I would recommend you highlight this more on your site to attract people to it. The best and only site to use for ACLS / PALS first time learning and refresher. Well done Jeff thank you for the great job you do.
ACLS says
Hi Joan,
That’s great! I’m so glad that you found the audio quiz series beneficial. I will see how I can make sure users are aware of this.
Kind regards, Jeff

Jeff, I aced the new 2020 ACLS exam today and flew thru the hands-on scenarios. I found your site by accident, having only 1 week to study as my outpatient interventional radiology office told me that I needed this certification while my colleague is away on vacation. Due to Covid it is difficult to find ACLS test centers and I was super stressed-out but your organized layout and comprehensive coverage provided an approachable framework. I finished the mega codes and video review last night after ACLS day #1 (instruction), and felt well prepared. NOTHIING on Amazon is even remotely comparable (and I did order almost everything).
I can’t thank you enough and I will encourage everyone I know to take your course. Your site is fantastic and a breeze to navigate! If you offered a lifetime subscription I’d take it!

Wow! Thanks for sharing your story. That is great. Thanks so much for your encouraging feedback, and thanks for telling other about the site.

I appreciate this website. Although I bumped into it less than a week from my test date and I have limited time to study. I have been viewing ACLS as a nightmare. But having used this platform to make an emergency preparation, it took out all my phobia for ACLS. In fact, I actually began to feel like an instructor. I made up my mind to re subscribe again and take time to do in depth study. From this site I come to understand different strip patterns for Afib. Initially I always look out for just the quivering pattern of the pwave. Also, this is where I learn how to navigate within algorithms. How to determine ROSC and managing the patient post resuscitation. I can go on and on but let me pause here.
This is a great site and I am referring my friends already
ACLS says
Hi Pauline! Thanks so much for the encouraging feedback. That’s great that you’ve become so confident with the algorithms. You should become an instructor! Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. Kind regards, Jeff

Thank you; this is a great website. Everything was explained very clearly, and I appreciate the references you include for further reading as well (although several of the links are now broken), and the repetition through information pages and quizzes helped develop and cement my knowledge. The code simulations (both written Q&A, and video) were a great review, and I feel confident after working through your course that I am ready not only for the ACLS course but also a code.
One point of constructive criticism: some of the quiz questions still seem to reflect some now-outdated protocol elements.
Many thanks!
ACLS says

This was an excellent course. Very easy to maneuver. The material was easy to grasp and retain. Reading the strips can be a challenge but the material was broken so that interpret almost any strip. I love the interactive videos and real-life scenarios. I would definitely utilize this program again as a refresher!

Thank you SO MUCH for this amazing site. In Covid times my ACLS skills was via Zoom between me and the instructor. One patient, a virtual monitor, and a scenario that kept changing. I was sweating bullets and never would have passed without you!
