I took my ACLS recertification today and passed without any problems…only missed 1 question on written exam. This site is worth every penny and is by far better than any study guide I’ve ever used. I want to also thank Jeff for great customer service, I was having a problem logging in and sent him an email he responded quickly leaving me a voicemail making sure the problem was fixed.

I just passed ACLS recert today. I appreciate this site. My practice here helped alleviate my high anxiety. I reviewed the resp arrest section especially to try to remember respirations per minute differences in various situations. Also, does one ambu a pt. prior to suctioning with an ET tube? Changes. Thanks .

Hi paski33 thanks for the feedback and question. During a code if you are providing proper ventilation with an ambu bag to an intubated patient, there should be no need to hyperventilate the patient if you hold the suctioning to less than 5 seconds. You can just suction between respirations if necessary.

If you are asking about a general situation not in a code but possibly post arrest or even pre-arrest then providing 100% oxygen with a slightly increased frequency in ventilation just prior to suctioning may be beneficial.
      Kind regards, Jeff

Just wanted to thank you for making this web site available. I was a nervous wreck about taking ACLS and stumbled upon this site–truly a calming and reassuring site! I PASSED my ACLS yesterday. The videos are excellent, the comment/answer section helped as well. I will be recommending this site to others who are in need of ACLS. Thanks again!

Thanks so much for a terrific site! I passed ACLS yesterday on the first try of everything – and I usually get extremely anxious prior to these things! Presenting information visually from the book was very helpful and the repetition from the Video scenarios really helped my critical thinking and response time to the actual megacode testing yesterday. This was SO worth the money!

I recertifed my ACLS yesterday and I want to thank you and your website for your assistance. I had heard from numerous coworkers how hard the test was. I only missed two of the fifty questions and I thought it was fairly easy. I had taken ACLS 10 times and this was the most preparred I had felt and this was the first time I utilized your website. I will be studying with you again in 2014. Since the internet is virtually everywhere, I studied with my android phone, my Ipad, my PC at work, and my PC at home. Anytime I had a few minutes. I still read the book, but the book is not always with you. You are!!! Thanks again. Tim

Your website is a great interactive tool – especially for people like me who don’t like to just sit and read. The tests help direct you toward weak spots for study and the megacode simulator tests are wonderful. The megacode videos just top the whole thing off – the daunting music and countdown of time puts you on the spot to come up with answers quick just like you will have to do in person for the test. Awesome!! I will recommend your site to everyone I work with. (Especially if I pass the test in 3 days 🙂

I use this tool and only had 1 day to study for acls. I did not have a book. I only had access to my old acls books. I really found this web site helpful. It was worth my money.

I really liked this site and gave it to several people in my respiratory care program to help them pass ACLS. ACLS is part of our program and this site helped me to prepare to pass the written and Megacode part of the ACLS. Thank you Jeff for taking the time to put this site together.
