The Learn & Master ACLS practice test library provides you with a comprehensive library of practice tests categorized by Algorithm. Each test is progressive and after completion of all tests, you should have an adequate understanding of each ACLS Algorithm and interventions carried out within ACLS protocol. After you finish each test, the program will grade your test. Repeat the test if you score Less than 85%.
If you miss a question, a rationale will be provided with a page reference number from the AHA ACLS Provider Manual.
If you are using the Learn & Master ACLS Interactive Course Guide to prepare, the ACLS practice tests below are all built into the learning modules. Learn more about the Interactive Course Guide

Hello all,
When my job recruiter told me I need to be ACLS certified, I was horrified. Having been in palliative care much of my nursing career, you may understand why I felt like I did. But I did not want that to hinder me from the opportunity to do something different.
Finding this website, was really a Godsend! I registered and watched all the videos, took notes, took all the tests, took it again, and then again. Until it was drilled into my head. Before I knew it, I was looking at strips and knew what they were. It was amazing.
The various tests, and pointers and the megacode scenarios were very helpful. Studied for 4 days straight. Took a 2 day class
and got my ACLS certificate.
Thank you. Thank you.
This site has demystified the ACLS for and I know it will help anyone who is as “clueless” as I was. Thanks Jeff.

Hi Maria, thank you so much for leaving your feedback. I’m so glad that the site was helpful.
It is the stories like this that make me want to continue to make this site the best that it can be to make learning ACLS simple.
I do appreciate your encouragement.
Kind regards,

Hi Jeff,
I just took my first ACLS class his weekend and I scored 94% on the test! This website helped me feel prepared and reduced my anxiety over all. I enjoyed the mega code simulations and the practice tests were about similar to the actual written test.
I am glad that you let us ask questions (like in a class) on the comment box, and I learned a lot from your clarifications. I have pretty much the same questions as others, that made me feel less alone in this dreaded pre-ACLS prep period, haha!
I bought the 2-week version 4 days before my class (cram time). This site is actually pretty cool and easy to understand! Prolly gonna take the PALS version some time this year and I’m looking forward to it!
Thanks much! God bless you!

I am taking ACLS for the first time later this week. When I found out that I needed to become ACLS certified at my new job I started having panic attacks. My sister-in-law has always been ACLS certified and I remember her wearing a t-shirt years (and years) ago that said, “I survived ACLS.” I kept having flashbacks to that t-shirt. Your website was highly recommended by my co-workers and I LOVE it!! I will highly recommend this site to others that are in need of ACLS certification/re-certification and will return in two years (granted I pass the 2 day course this week). The information is so helpful and I am glad that explanations are provided when the wrong answer is chosen on the practice tests. You have definitely boosted my knowledge base and confidence (although I’m still nervous).
Thank you!

You will do great on your certification!

Jeff you and your brother are awesome, I used this site in 2014 and passed 98%. I was shocked. Needless to say every question that was asked during class I was able to answer without hesitation. Now I am back with the new guidelines. Wish me luck!! I have also shared this site with several of my travel nursing colleagues and it has made me a rock star. Muchas Gracias!!!!!

Hi Jeff,
Thank you for a comprehensive ACLS guide/updates. Can you please clarify on ACLS Practice Questions — Q 2: At what point in both chains of survival do the interventions converge? Answer: in the Cath Lab. But your video on the updates says they converge in the Post Care ICU?
Thank you,
GV
Jeff with admin. says
I can see where this question was a little confusing. I have added a clarification in the rational of the question, and modified the question so that it reflects a more clear understanding of the new guidelines in hospital and out of hospital chains of survival.
For patients that require PCI due to the nature of their cardiac arrest, the convergence point would be the cath lab. For patients that do not require PCI the convergence point would be the post-arrest ICU. The convergence point is dependent upon the nature of the arrest.
Kind regards,
Jeff

Took my recertification yesterday and after studying for 2 weeks pretty diappointed as I studyed the 2010 guidelines. The test had been compromised nationally so we were the first to use the new test with the 2016 guidelines. Thank goodness the instructors reviewed and gave us most of the questions. ( compressions 100-120), don’t get 02 sat above 99%. Many more, but still use new guidelines if that is what AHA is testing on even though its not March yet.
