Upper airway obstruction | ACLS-Algorithms.com

    • ACLS says

If the child remains unconscious then you would continue chest compressions. After each two minute cycle you would visually check the mouth for the obstruction.

If no obstruction can be visualized, you would attempt to give a rescue breath. If unable to perform the rescue breath due to the obstruction then you would continue Chest compressions.

You would repeat this until The airway is cleared or until EMS arrives.

      Kind regards,
      Jeff
