Question: If there is any doubt, Unstable, monomorphic vtach and polymorphic vtach are treated with high energy shocks.
If you are able to diagnose unstable monomorphic vtach you can used synchronized cardioversion.

    • ACLS says

Yes. Unstable monomorphic ventricular tachycardia can be treated with synchronized cardioversion. If, for some reason, the defibrillator will not synchronize with the rhythm, then and synchronized cardioversion can be used.

      Kind regards, Jeff
