Vasopressin does not have anything to do with the availability of amiodarone. If you meant to say “how often can you repeat vasopressin 40 u if EPINEPHRINE is not available?” Then I would say vasopressin can be given once. The half-life of vasopressin is 5-15 minutes and it only has to be administered once.

      Kind regards,
      Jeff

I have to say that the ACLS-Algorithms.com Checklist is EXTREMELY helpful, especially for someone like me who has adult A.D.D. 😉 I am also very grateful for this website. I had purchased the ACLS Heartcode Part One online course from AHA, and I was already overwhelmed by the “Pre-course Assessment”. I thought that purchasing the AHA online course was supposed to help me learn ACLS from start to finish, and not make me feel doomed from the very beginning. Thankfully, your affordable pricing makes it possible to supplement the expensive AHA courses with this valuable online resource. I thank you for your ongoing service to the healthcare community.

Passed my ACLS easily!! This is the second time I have used your program to study for my test. It is the most helpful site that I have found and I really appreciate the quality of your training. I’ll be back in 2 years!

    Jeff,
I hadn’t done ACLS in over 10 years. I found your website extremely helpful in making things make sense and updated compared to the last time I took this. Thanks for taking the time and energy to put such a wonderful piece of education together. Helped me pass with much less stress than if I hadn’t been able to work thru all the pieces on your website.

    Jeff,

Your time and passion about ACLS is reflective! Thanks for taking the time to simplify ACLS and making it make sense!!! Because of this, I was able to successfully pass ACLS today. Your site decreased my test anxiety and provided me with the needed confidence! I have shared this site with other colleagues.

Thanks so much and the best to you!!!

    Warm Regards,

Not to suggest that anyone else do this, but due to extenuating circumstances that would not allow me to get my ACLS book until 2days before the class, I got on line and studied using this site for 3 days and absolutely had no problem with the class or test. Yes, I have to say I am experienced with ACLS, but the new guidelines are so different, it made me nervous this time. This site constantly will ingrain what is most important to know so much that the class was just a repeat. If you are in the same situation of having to cram, just do an outside review of ACS,stroke and post ROSC, all of which are very short and easy to review. If you study better using review test to reinforce what you learn….this the the most perfect site. Thanks Jeff!!

I haven’t been in nursing for 19yrs., just finished a reentry program and got a job and had to take ACLS in a WEEK!! I found your website and thanks to you, I passed with 95 percent!! Now that is saying how credible this tool is for helping us study for the ACLS test! If I can pass after 19 years out anyone can!! Thank you so much, Rhonda

I am one of those who is required to maintain ACLS certification but never uses it, so it always seems a bit of a chore when it rolls around. It was actually fun this year (okay a little bit fun), all due to this site. Thanks for the helpful simulators and videos, and the short and to the point approach. ACLS-Algorithms is a bargain and I highly recommend this site!

    Hi,

Thank you for your website Jeff. My clinical instructors in my school never really emphasized ACLS so its good to have a detailed website to back me up. I’m taking my ACLS in 2 days and I hope I pass. I wish you also have a tutorial like this for BLS and especially, PALS. I’m taking PALS in a month and I’m stressing out because there’s no other website that have PALS tutorial… so I’m really nervous.

Thanks Jeff. I passed my renewal with flying colors. Your videos and explanations made it easier to understand what to do in any scenario. I have recommended your site to everyone I know, and those who have taken a look at your site, love it too. Thank you! If you do decide to add a review session for CCRN, PALS or anything else, I will be the first to sign up. 🙂 Peace and blessings. Inenyo

Thank you Jeff for this site. I passed ACLS yesterday. Your site made it very simple to understand and remember.the algorithms. This was my first time taking ACLS and people always told me it was an intense class (and it is) but your tools walked me right through. Thanks again.
