Each ACLS Megacode Scenario within the simulator will take you through situations that you will experience when you perform your ACLS Megacode Skills Station.
After you have completed the scenario, the ACLS simulator will grade your test, and you will receive instant feedback. This will help reinforce the ACLS Algorithm and improve your ability to respond in emergency situations. Go through each megacode scenario as many times as you need to achieve mastery of the ACLS Algorithms.
After you have completed these multiple-choice megacode scenarios, move on to the megacode series videos which will take you one step further in your mastery of the ACLS algorithms.
The ACLS megacode simulator is compliant with the 2020-2025 AHA ACLS guidelines.

I’ve been a critical care nurse for many years and this site just rocks! I’m used to the MD’s running the codes but after going thru the megacodes here I am now 100% confident in conducting any critical situation that may come my way.
I know this website is dedicated to ACLS but would it be possible to provide training on post-resuscitation measures not included in the ACLS algorithms? For example a patient post-code stabilized but continues with dropping BP and climbing HR in the 150’s while on low dose dopamine and with more than adequate fluid resuscitation, maybe a trial of mixing 4mg Levophed in 250 D5W to provide pressor support? Stat H&H?
Anyway, love the website. Well structured. You can read the ACLS book 100 times and still not fully understand and integrate what you’ve read.

I do try and keep the basic content is focused as possible on ACLS. However, in the future I may develop an area for advanced ACLS and this type of content would be included.
Kind regards,
Jeff

This is my second year to subscribe. And I can guarantee, that if you just keep doing these test questions, YOU WILL PASS THE ACLS TEST!! That’s what I did, and I scored a 98% on the test. I thought some of it was tricky…….I was really surprised I did that well. It also helps with recall on the megacode. Thanks Jeff!!

Fabulous web-site and well structured study tool. Used the checklist, to track progress. Especially grateful for the large number of questions to verify what was learned (or not) in reading. And the megacodes to increase speed of recognition and recall. Lots of work on your part. Thank You.

Hi Jeff please let me whether adrenalin should be diluted in 10 ml during adult cardiac arrest…what is the latest and old protocol for the same..
Jeff with admin. says
The dilution should not matter. What is important is that you’re giving 1 mg of epinephrine every 3 to 5 minutes. If that 1 mg is in 10 mL or in 1 mL it is not consequential. One thing that is consequential is to give at least 20 mL of normal saline following the dose of epinephrine. This ensures that the epinephrine gets into the central system more rapidly.
Kind regards,
Jeff
